A king fell seriously ill
The doctors gathered to treat him, and they all agreed that the only cure
wahid ... The King
his liver and to be cured of his illness.
The king called the judge and asked him if it was permissible to
kill this young man so that the king could be cured
with his liver? The unjust judge issued a fatwa stating that it was permissible to kill someone so that the king could take his liver to heal him lawfully.
They brought the boy to be slaughtered like a sheep.
The king was overlooking him.
He saw the boy staring at his executioner, then raising his eyes to the sky and smiling.
The king quickly approached the boy and asked him, amazed:
"Why are you laughing when you are on the verge of death?"
" The young man said: My father should have
been merciful to their son,
and the judge should have been just in his
judgment.
The king should have pardoned.
As for my father and mother, they were tempted by the pleasures of this world,
so they surrendered my soul to you.
I asked the judge, but he feared you but not God,
so he made my blood permissible for you.
And you, my master, saw your cure in killing an innocent.
For all of this, I saw no refuge other than my Lord.
So I raised my head to Him, satisfied with His judgment, and I know that God Have mercy on me.
From my parents who abandoned me, for the pleasures of this world are few.
And the judge of the earth, I complain to the Judge of the earth and the heavens.
And you, O King of the world, your kingdom will not last, for there is the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining.
He will bring justice to every oppressed person.
The king was moved by the young man's words and wept.
He said, "If I die while I am ill, it is better than that I
kill a pure soul." Then he took the young man and kissed him.
He gave him what he wanted. It was said after that that not even a week had passed since these events until
the king recovered from his illness.
The lesson...
Whoever gives up something for the sake of God, He will replace it with something better. From Him.
And when all other causes have been cut off, turn
to the Causer of causes.
And call out, "O Allah..." and be content with His decree, and you will be happy.
In this world and the hereafter, O Allah.
And know that everything that happens to you is from Allah for the best.
For Allah knows, and you do not know.
