A more than wonderful story
In one of the villages,
there were two neighbors living next to each other.
One of them was a retired teacher, and the other was an insurance agent.
He had a great interest in technology.
Both of them grew different plants in their gardens.
The retired teacher gave his plants little water,
and didn't give them full attention. The other neighbor, who was interested in technology, gave his plants plenty of water and took good care of them.
The retired teacher's plants were simple,
but they looked good and were The insurance agent's plants are fuller, greener, and more lush.
One night, a small storm came, bringing heavy rain.
A strong wind blew.
When morning came, everyone went out to inspect the damage caused by the small storm.
Of course, the two neighbors, the retired teacher and the insurance agent, also went out to inspect the damage to their garden.
The neighbor, who was an insurance agent, saw that His plants were uprooted and completely destroyed!
While the retired teacher's plants
were not damaged at all and remained intact!
The insurance agent was surprised by what had happened. He went to the retired teacher and asked him:
We both planted the same plants at the same time and place.
I cared for them better than you, so my plants became more lush and beautiful than yours.
But after the storm, when I looked at my garden and plants, I saw that they had been completely destroyed.
While your plants remained intact, I cared for them better than you, pampering them, and giving them more water and care. Enough and more!!
Despite all this, my plants were uprooted.
While your plants and garden did not suffer the same fate as mine. Is that possible?!
How did this happen and why?!!
The retired teacher smiled and said:
"You gave your plants extra attention and water, when they didn't need to do all of this."
I made life easy for them.
While I gave my plants a reasonable amount of water, but it was slightly less than they needed, my plants were forced to extend their roots into the ground further and further in search of more water to meet their needs. Because of this, my plants' roots were deeper, longer, stronger, and more branched, which made my plants stronger and more stable. That's why my plants survived, while your pampered plants didn't. Their roots remained short and weak, they needed support, and they couldn't support themselves like my plants! "
📌The moral of the story*:
This story revolves around parental upbringing. We find that children are like plants. If everything is given to them, they will not appreciate the value of what they have, nor will they strive to work hard to obtain what they need. They will remain dependent on others, unable to face life and its burdens, and will not understand what it takes to earn these things and needs.
Rather, they will not learn to work. By themselves, respect, and appreciate them.
Sometimes it's better to guide them rather than giving them everything ready-made.
Teach them how to walk.
Don't carry them when they can walk. Yes, don't let them stumble or walk in any way, but walk in front of them and let them follow your footsteps.
